Waste

Book Cliffs
Grand and San Juan Counties have a convenient transportation corridor for the nation and hosts an interstate highway and a railroad. But it also conveys the entire regional water supply of the southwestern United States via the Colorado River. How we manage toxic waste in this landscape is a serious responsibility.
It is also important to be aware of extraordinary rates of consumption and waste that occur in this nation, and to instead rethink, reduce, recycle and reuse our natural resources wisely.
